You missed a FG somewhere...Ru swears he dropped 40 :lol2:

Nope, as I told him and his Dad did as well, if you shoot better from the Charity Line tonigh, you got 40 in the stats sheet easy.

BTW after going through the stats quickly, his highest point total was 34 and he did that twice in his 10th grade season, 34 Vs. Conner and 34 Vs. Simon Kenton!

I saw TOG on a hot date Saturday night at Barleycorns... but he was busy chattin, so I didn't get to say hi.

I could be wrong but I don't think I saw one Boone student at the game. Hard to believe as hard as their team plays.

Sad, and typical for Boone.

Jeff Ruby was in Park Hills tonite.

@TheRealJeffRuby

Cov Cath puts down shots like drunk sailors

They haven't missed a trey yet.

Wish you had stop by and said HI! I believe I was talking to the young manager at Barleycorns, who just happened to be one of our scorekeeper, back when he was in high school at CovCath.

Outstanding young man!

Yes, you were. You initially started to sit at the bar next to me and my son. I will say hi next time and buy you a drink! :)

Could a mod please change the final score to 89-56.

I edited it for you.

Ruthsatz 38 points tonight would be the best single game scoring performance in NKY over the past 3 years, I believe. One up on Bolden's 37 point performances (v Newcath and Brossart).

Highest individual scoring total for a large school team. I think Hoffman at Bellevue, Jump at Williamstown (who put 40 on sk last night) and Blewit? at Latin, all put up more in last few years.

Still, an outstanding night from Ruthsatz. Getting closer to that CCH all time points record.

13/24 from 3 between Ruthsatz and Heppler.

That will work.

One area of concern for me would be how often Boone (mainly Stanley and Mayberry) beat CCH down the floor last night. Happened way too often.

13/24 from 3 between Ruthsatz and Heppler.

That will work.

According to KHSAA

Heppler is shooting 51% from behind the arc for the year. and 50% 2-3 combined. A total of 124 attempts. 9.9 PPG

Ruthsatz is only 33% from behind the arc and 42% of 2-3 combined. A total of 283 attempts. 21.4 PPG

I could probably go into a lot of explanation as to why the above is.

Mainly, it's due to Hepp being set up to shoot vs Ruthsatz creating his own and drawing the focus. He will occasionally force a bad shot - all scorers do.

Hepp is a GREAT option for the kickout. Great stroke.

Great guy, but his joints are over-rated.

That's bold. Nothing like a Ruby's steak.
