What are some others?

I was speaking to both # of attempts and shooting %.

Others: ability to get shot from many spots/ways, emphasis of offensive scheme, confidence, ability to use dribble to get more shots, mindset to name a few.

I could be wrong but I don't think I saw one Boone student at the game. Hard to believe as hard as their team plays.

Sad, and typical for Boone.

Just like the Regional Finals two years ago, sad. There are others that have a poor student showing as well.

They have and they will continue to do so.

In the past they've tried to run an extra player at him to get him to get rid of the ball. Now that CCH can have some other players play PG and have Nick R play the 2 that makes it a little more challenging. It does however open it up for the other 4.

Another would be pressure...

A player has less pressure on him when his team is not depending on him to carry them offensively night after night.

In theory we agree. However, in Nick's case I don't think the pressure factor is a factor at all.

How many points does Ruthsatz need to break the all time Record?

I was not talking about Nick, nor the "main scorer" for any team. I was talking about the "other" players being able to knock down those select shots because they do not have that added pressure of having to be the guy.

That is one reason you will see them with a higher percentage.

I don't know exactly but I'd guess somewhere under 100.

I have no idea where Nick is right now in the total points column....but he has to get to 1730 to beat out Andy Listerman. I think I remember looking at his numbers last season and thinking it was pretty unlikely.

I was a little off. Got a text saying he is 130 away from tying the record.

Barring injury the record will be broken before the tourney begins.

I would guess the NCC points won't count unless they finish it.

Good question. How many did he have ?

Looks like my memory isn't serving me too well. As of the end of last season, Satz was averaging 18.7 points per game, and at the end of the season last year, he was at 1,215 points. Shouldn't be much problem. With his average from last season, it should take him around 7 more games to break the record, barring injury. Seven games from now is at Cooper on February 11th.
