Street legal. Look out LB.

Nice win for NCC. What was half time score? Game close at all?

I was not at the game, but I understand from twitter updates that NCC was up by 15 at half, and St. Henry pulled within 6 early in the 3rd, but the Breds responded and put it out of reach from then on with something like a 13-2 run.

NewCath went out big early, maybe like 15-2 and 27-10 after the first quarter. With about 4 min left in 2nd qtr I think NCC had 2 trips down the floor that they didn't score. They are big and played well. Nice passing team. Crusaders hung around and made a run in the third qtr and cut it down to 51-45. NCC went on another run and that was pretty much it.

Moeves shot the ball very well from deep and did a nice job driving. McDonald was just too much inside and I thought NCC did a real nice job getting inside all night long. When St.Henry's bigs got inside, they got blocked numerous times. Schulte had a nice inside game tonight and runs the floor well.

Plummer played very well for St.Henry. He has a real nice slow/fast/slower type dribble that he got nice shots going to the basket. Rechtin attacked the basket well and Jordan Noble hit a couple 3's along with some nice moves in the paint.

NCC is just good. Nothing to be ashamed of from St.Henry.

Congrats to the Breds.

So much talent on that team.

Really like Ben Wehr's game. And only a Soph?

Nothing to be ashamed of from St.Henry.

Just Jim---got any Lifesavers? Right now would be a good time to pass those around. :)

Nice summary Jim.

Breds had a 22 point lead early 2nd quarter and the Cru trimmed down to 10, before the Breds go into the half up 15. However, the Cru took advantage of bad defense, turnovers, and empty trips to make it a 51-45 game with 3:30 remaining in the 3rd. Newcath's Tanner Moeves then connects for consecutive treys and a Drew McDonald run-out bucket in the next :41 seconds and it's 59-45, and the Breds finish the quarter up 64-47. Breds with a nice job not losing their composure and rebuilding the lead, but they better play better "D" and cut down on the silly turnovers.

Big tip of the cap to St. Henry for not giving up and taking it right to the Breds. Plummer, Noble, & Recchtin with a solid job. Kunstek was in foul trouble early, and fouled out early 4th.

McDonald and Schulte had their way down low, and Tanner Moeves continues to "kill it" from the land of 3, going 5/7. For the season he is hitting over 50% from 3. :thumb:

It was big for Newcath to jump out to that big early lead. St Henry isn't a team you want to let hang around within a couple possessions for an entire game. Very scrappy bunch.

Congrats to the Breds on the win. Really looking forward to seeing them tonight. (As long as the weather holds up)
