If Seattle doesn't get any more pressure on Manning than the Pats did, he will more than likely light them up for a lot of yardage. The Broncos offensive line played great as I cannot recall New England even touching Manning the entire game.

Right, and that doesn't change the fact that statistically they're well below average. It's not a topic that's up for debate. There's 32 teams in the NFL. They're defense did not rank in the top half of the league. It's below average.

Lynch will get more than 5 carries and if it is as cold as they say it will be each carry he has will punish and soften up that stout Denver run defense.

I'm taking Seattle for all the reasons UKMF stated. Not to mention we've all seen what happens to Peyton when he plays a top notch defense that can apply pressure on him. He sees these kind of defenses every post season in his last game of the season.

My gut says the Broncos get it done, unless the weather is an issue. Peyton doesn't like the cold.

 

No QB likes the cold. Favre, obviously could tolerate the cold better than most. The Bronco's are practicing outside now for sure. A cold Peyton Manning is still one of the best QB's on the planet. We shall see.

To me, it seems like NE abandoned the run way too early in the game. Then, late in the game, the Pats were running a few draw plays getting 8-10 yards a pop with Vereen and Ridley. Did Blount get hurt or something? I missed most of the 1st half.

The late in the game runs came when Denver went to three down linemen and were allowing the underneath and run plays.

I'm taking Manning and the Broncos.

Tough matchup to pick because both are very good teams and I like both teams. I do believe the weather will come into play and I think that favors the team with the best defense and running game. I think Seattle has both of those and will win the game, with a score of something around 24-17.

I get that, but you can't just run the ball 5 times with Blount and call it a day, because your best gain was 3 yards. Belichick and McDaniels are a lot better than that.
