Record breaking in before 3pt. shot era of high school sports.

Featured Replies

Also, with the title of this thread, the discussion about the 3 pointer and the fact that the three point shot rule did not exist when Draud was in high school, there is an ironic trivia question that Draud is the answer to.

Who made the first 3 point shot in Vanderbilt history? ...... Scott Draud

Ok, so we're talking about Hatton passing this in his next game?

He is about 130 shy.

He is about 130 shy.

Thanks for clarifying.

With 3 games scheduled down at Scott County this week Hatton should be safe to break the record at one of these upcoming home games:

• Jan 28 vs Lloyd

• Jan 31 vs Simon Kenton

• Feb 1 vs Newport

• Feb 5 vs Holmes

• Feb 8 vs Holy Cross

Since Hatton reached 2,500 against the Australian team (finishing at 2,504) he has scored 223 points in 9 games which puts him at 2,727 (138 shy) but that does not include the Ryle game in which I don't know how many he scored.

The lovefest for Scott Draud = :puke:

Good luck to Mr. Hatton. How fitting that a player from Dixie H.S. should be the one to break his record.

Even better irony is that he doesn't live in Dixie's district.

Did Draud live in Highlands' district? For some reason I am thinking he didn't, which adds even more irony. In addition, did Draud live in Dixie's district? That would be the ultimate irony in this situation.

He lived right up the street from Dixie...

Even better irony is that he doesn't live in Dixie's district.

You sure about that?

You sure about that?

No. Got it from a friend of his. Not true?

Unless its right on a "weird boundary edge" I thought his dad was in the district.

So you don't know for sure either???
