January 21, 201412 yr Latos, Cueto, Leake, Cingrani, WBP(with obvious disclaimer) I think you're correct on what the rotation would look like, and therefore let me reiterate that I can't believe anyone thinks this is still a 90 win team. The Reds aren't now, nor likely ever going to be, in a position to have three $10-12+ million earning starting pitchers. That said, has Leake even been good enough to be on a post-season roster yet? I'm not going to look it up, but wasn't he left off the roster against SF last year? Not that it matters for one-game, but was he on the Pittsburgh roster this year?

My rotation: 1. Latos 2. Cueto 3. Arroyo 4. Leake 5. Cingrani / Stephenson Looks like a solid rotation to me and certainly capable of winning over 81 games.

Cingrani / Stephenson Looks like a solid rotation to me and certainly capable of winning over 81 games. Last year their starters won 66 of their 90 wins (I think it was 90). So if Latos wins 15 (would be a career high), Cueto stays healthy and wins 15 (he has only won north of 12 once, but I'm assuming he is back to 2012 level and healthy), and Arroyo gets 12 (solid albeit a year older), that is 42. So either Leake and Cingrani have to combine for 20 wins (color me skeptical), or you'll need a lot more bully victories, which are a crap-shoot, you have to agree. If they repeat 73% of their wins from their SP, and I give them 55 wins (my opinion....best case), that gets them 75 wins. A number I've been consistently harping on for months. Keep in mind, I'm being generous on some of those predictions (especially with Cueto, given the back of his card). I do think Latos could take a big jump forward this year, but I also think Cueto or Arroyo (if he is back) are equally likely to not be able to reach double digit wins.
