I would have to agree with Hoosiers. Hoop dreams was also very good.

I don't think they ever showed Chitwood's father, Shooter was the other kid's dad.

I'm waiting for the new edition of Hoop Dreams that's coming out soon on DVD. My buddy recently told me that Agee's father was shot and killed along with Curtis Gates.

"Hoosiers" is the clear No. 1, but I can't believe no one's mentioned the clear No. 2, "Fast Break."

What is the name of the pistol pete movie. Who played Pistol in this movie? How do I get it, I remember watching it as a young child but haven't seen it in awhile.

 

The other great bball movie I loved as a child and haven't seen since the early 90's was the story of Hank Gather and Bo Kimble. I loved that movie. Anyone know the name of it.

4. Fastbreak-Gabe Kaplan...what a coach!, Bernard King, and the chick with the ace bandage (Swish) Lots of social issues in this movie but it's a good one
