Coach Faust must be shaking his head. That's two nice bigs for the future heading to Park Hills.

One other thing that makes it worse is that the 7th grade St Henry team is really undermanned as it is. They have been beaten soundly in every game I have seen in the Saturday league they play in - to scores such as 50-12, and scores like that. That Class in High School looks like it is really going to be down unless something changes.

There is a very nice group of 8th grade basketball players coming from St Paul and a few from St Henry---all headed to SHDHS next year.

I think they will have a good group of frosh to work with.

Probably will get some from Pius as well. Usually happens.

Ruthsatz coming to St Henry? I like that rumor. :lol2:

I know the Berling twins attend St Paul and they are both are good ball players not sure if they will go to cch or St Henry. I know their father was a great player at cch back in the day.

I believe Ockerman's 8th grade boys are undefeated. A lot of really good players on that team, two of which will contribute big time to Cooper over the next 4 years in Ollier and McNeil...yes the younger brother to Sean and Zach McNeil of Cooper.

Just thought I would update you on Ockerman record at this point. They have lost just one game and that was to St. Pius. They played poorly that night. Anxious to possibly see these to two square off again as I believe they are the two best 8th grade teams I have seen.

St. Pius and Holy Trinity both in action on Friday over at the Our Lady of Victory tournament in Delhi. St. Pius plays at 6:00pm against Our Lady of Grace and Holy Trinity plays at 8:00pm against Guardian Angels. This tournament has a handful of other quality teams from Ohio as well.

Correction St. Pius plays at 9:00

St Pius is at 6pm tonight an Holy Trinty is at 8. Unless its been changed but I know HT plays at 8pm for sure.

HT is a fantastic basketball team. Kids are talented, play hard, play unselfish and well coached. I saw them play St. Pius in the St. Henry tourney in November. HT won 46-42 - very good game. They are in opposite brackets of the OLV tourney over in Delhi. Would be nice to see an all KY final and a preview of CCH vs NCC for years to come.

Posted this info in the wrong thread. In district play tonight Sharp defeated Campbell County and Highlands defeated Holmes. Sharp and Highlands meet at noon Saturday at Sharp Middle School for the district championship.

I would be shocked if the Berling twins end up anywhere but CovCath.
