NKY Boys 8th Grade Basketball

Featured Replies

You could also add some JV teams as well. This team is "stupid good"!!! Led by point guard Steven Pangallo........talk about blood lines, grandpa is none other than NewCath head coach Ron Dawn

Been playing together for about 4-5 years, they make the grade school league look like "childs play".

Also led by the teams high scorer Brennan Hall who don't have a Grandpa as a coach but will shoot eye balls out... js

I hear that the basketball talent that st therese always has transfered to HT to join with a few others last last year and they are the best catholic school team since the 95-96 st therese 8th grade team that was unstoppable.[/QUO

One kid came from St Therese in the 6th grade the other two came from public schools. That was 6th grade year. As 8th graders non has came from St Therese. Two new players this 8th grade year for HT came for public schools.

HT may run into St Pius again in a tournament in Cincy. That will be a fun game to see again! St Pius is a very good 8th grade team.

Conner, they beat us fair and square we totally got out coached but far from out played. The 6'5 boy was just taking up space but Brennan Hall of HT took it to him put him foul trouble early. #11 deserved more credit then he got from Conner my view only is he was best on team #5 was ok. but we will face off again when AAU Legends and SS meet up again.

Both these teams are great teams and will be fun to watch.

The 6'5 kid is Joe Walter's son I believe.

Are all the HT kids going to NewCath?

Most are... one is going to Cov Cath. another Highlands but who knows he been to Newport, Highlands back to Newport now HT??? He's actually a hold back so playing with this group of boys should of improved his skills.

I don't know Joe I just heard his Dad either played or plays with Bengals???

This was by far the best game I have ever seen HT boys play. The talent was equal and it was a great game. I can't remember but I know we didn't blow them out but we won by least ten or more. That point guard is awesome and quick. He ran the show and the temple of his team he will be a force in high school. I like this team.

I heard there was a few hold backs on holy trinity? An they have all been to few different schools?

Nope only the one ... and yes three of them moved from a school to get to HT in the 6th grade and they have been there since...

Just heard a few of them could be freshman. Thanks.

Solid group of kids with high basketball IQ. I would expect a lot of success from this group moving forward!
