January 6, 201412 yr I won't even look to recent Super Bowl winners, I will simply pick a team and show you what they do and why they along with other teams do to improve themselves. Denver Broncos last year. They go out an spend a fortune on a proven winner in Peyton Manning and fire their head coach from 2011, all this after, and I repeat AFTER the Broncos won in the post season. While the Bengals keep Marvin Lewis, a proven loser, and their proven loser of a QB simply because they still have years left on their contracts. Bengals each year after making a little improvement in one area take huge steps backwards in other areas. Broncos win in the post season, fire head coach and grab the best QB in league history. Bengals lose again in the playoffs and simply say "Thank you, may I have another?"

Not quite right....Josh Mcdaniel was fired in the middle of the 2010 season and never made the playoffs and Fox was hired in early 2011 and was the head coach when Tebow won the playoff game the season before bringing in Peyton Manning

January 6, 201412 yr As long as Mike Brown is filling seats at the stadium, there will be no changes at QB or head coach.
January 12, 201412 yr As long as Mike Brown is filling seats at the stadium, there will be no changes at QB or head coach. This is absolutely stupid when people say this. You truly believe things would be different? Also what he has done with building this current team is better than most teams even with a gm. How has it worked out for Cleveland having a g m they been bigger losers than the Bengals. When it comes to quarterback I am not Andy Dalton fan however what quarterback is out there to go get that's an upgrade for next season? Mike Brown has done a good job building this current team. The only true complaint people can have with what he has done recently is his decision to keep Marvin. I agree with others that he should have fired him especial after losing again in first round.
January 13, 201412 yr Which I only say it's stupid to say that isbbecause Brown is not going to let fans dictate what he does. That was proven when he brought back Marvin in 2010 even though he knew he would have this city mad and not come to the games and people didn't come in 2011 and didn't change things. He won't let fans dictate what he does. He is more likely to try to move the team than change things.

Please, don't even start with that load of garbage. You continue year after year to talk about how great the team is and how much they have improved but you still ignore one simp,e fact. That is this team is still the only team in the entire league that has not won a single p,ayoff game in the last 23 years. You can talk about how bad Cleveland is etc. yet you ignore the fact that they have been more succesful when it matters than the Bengals, and they didn't even have a team for several years. So do us a favor and ease up on Your "Bengals are great" compared to other teams talk until you actually have something to back it up with.

So do us a favor and ease up on Your "Bengals are great" compared to other teams talk until you actually have something to back it up with. I have completely backed up my statements, and my statements were proven this year. Not to mention my statements from this past off season seemed to gain steam around the country in how talented this Bengals team is and how many people said it was the most talented team in the NFL top to bottom. Hmmm who said that all last off season while you argued on how poorly the Bengals did in the off season and didn't sign free agents from other teams like over paying for a #2 receiver blah, blah, blah. Which by the way I think we seen that was also smart because we have a pretty good #2 receiver that stepped up even with an inconsistent QB. I said though all along it would come down to the QB play on how far the team went, and that was exactly the case. So please tell me how I was wrong on this team again? This team was put together very well and better than most teams with GM's. However as mentioned and something I agree with we have a HC who should have been fired. Then we have a QB who is inconsistent as can be and disappears in big games. So as much as it probably hurts, and I know you would never admit you were wrong even though it was laid out right in front of you. The facts of what I said were proven true, and all you have to do is go back and look at all the threads. I will be waiting for you to tell me how I am wrong, because unless you ignore the facts or ignore my arguments from this past season you have nothing to prove what I said was wrong. The Bengals showed they definitely were the most talented team since the 80's. Top 10 offense and top 10 defense. The Bengals had many injuries and kept still producing. The Bengals kept their own free agents, and did improve until their QB sucked in the playoffs. The Bengals didn't over pay for free agents, and their own players stepped up even more than those free agents would have. The Bengals are now set up to sign their own talent and keep most of their own talent here still. I said it would all come down to the play off Dalton. Nothing that I said was proven wrong, and if anything I was backed up more. So unless you want to go with your made up garbage and ignore those things, you have nothing here man and need to carry on. Your argument of well they still lost in the 1st round is pointless because it does not change or show this team was not put together well and does not show that its not talented. All it shows is exactly what I said this team would go as far as Dalton could take them. Now if they don't draft a QB this year to at least try to push him some, then yes that will be a bad move.
January 15, 201412 yr Author FC, what in the world are you talking about when youmsaidmyou were right? Everything you spouted off was wrong. The Bengals, as I said last off season, again was one and done. As I've pointed out time and time again, the "Most talented team" does not go 23 years and counting without a playoff win, the "Most talented team" does not once again get embarrassed and become the laughing stock of the league because of getting their butts whipped by the lowest seeded team in the playoffs. You are also wrong about the Browns being bigger losers than the Bengals, the Browns I remind you HAVE WON IN THE PLAYOFFS since 1991, and they were even out of the league for several years lol. You can not name a single team that has been worse than the bengals since in the last 23 years so quit spouting misinformation like you have been doing all this time. You were wrong again, the bengals aren't near the most talented team in the league, the most talented team doesn't consistently lose when it counts. They may be the most talented team in Ohio, but I wouldn't put any money in it. Shoot, Cleveland has 3 QB's better than any in Cincinnati, so the talent level isn't all that.

I said it before the off season, and that was confirmed by many NFL experts who also considered the Bengals one of and some even said the most talented team in the NFL. Shoot that was the main talk around the NFL when people talked about the Bengals was how talented they are. Shoot it still was the main talk even after the playoff lost, it was people talking about how talented they were and how Dalton may not be the right QB for them. Also there you go again with going with other stuff. I said since 2010 that Mike Brown has done a very good job putting together this current team, and better than teams with GM's. You don't have an argument for that so you go back 23 years? Well yeah duh Mike Brown was pathetic and ran this team into the ground for many years, he sucked! However I am someone who will give credit where credit is due, he has put this team together the right way and you get all bent out of shape about that. So once again the statements I said said most talented Bengals team since the 80's? Even non Bengal fans have even agreed with that. With that said I still said it would though depend on Dalton on how they did. Which though ended up being very true, so how was I wrong? Thats right if you base things off what I said there is no argument for you because there is nothing to show what I said was wrong. You have nothing to show otherwise on how my statements were wrong. So checkmate, game over. Move on! Even though we disagree on this team being put together well. I do agree with you on Marvin should have been fired, and I agree that we need to draft a QB. If they don't do that, then they are dumb for not.
January 16, 201412 yr Author Oh, and one more thing FC, I once again proved all the so called experts wrong when they said the Bengals were the most talented teams in the league when I said they weren't. Yet just another year proved that you should listen to me instead of the ones you have been listening to. I again proved your sources wrong.

I said they weren't and guess what? That was true. The most talented doesn't lose to bad playoff teams. Funny thing is, you keep wanting to take credit for predicting what the team would do. It's funny now you are talking about those same experts are saying Dalton may not be the best person for QB here......WAKE UP FC, I've been saying that since I got in this site and you were doing the opposite. You were comparing Dalton 2 years ago to Brady and Brees. You were so wrong about how good the Bengals were and you were even more wrong about how good Dalton was. Now all of a sudden you are saying the same things I've been saying about Dalton since we started discussing the Bengals on here yet it is you who is supposed to always been right about this team? Haha, sorry, good try though. Just don't strain yourself patting yourself in the back lol. People may not like what I say about the Bengals, but as far as what they've done, I've been dead on target everytime.
January 16, 201412 yr Oh, and one more thing FC, I once again proved all the so called experts wrong when they said the Bengals were the most talented teams in the league when I said they weren't. Yet just another year proved that you should listen to me instead of the ones you have been listening to. I again proved your sources wrong. How did you prove they were wrong? You do realize in most sports especially ones with one and done in the playoffs that the most talented team doesn't usually win? Why is that because one coaching is a factor, and especially in the NFL QB play is a big factor. So please tell me again how that proves you right? I mean shoot say if the Pats win the Super Bowl were they the most talented team? Nope but did they show they were the best team at the right times yep. So your little them being out in the 1st round again proves what exactly? How does it prove they were not one of if not the most talented team in the NFL? Especially when most people even agreed and said it would depend on Dalton. So I know in your own little world you can believe you are right and thats fine. However until you could actually prove that anything I said was wrong, you may want to move on. Especially since I even said all year it would depend on Dalton. So once again check mate, game over. Move on.

However until you could actually prove that anything I said was wrong, you may want to move on. Especially since I even said all year it would depend on Dalton. So once again check mate, game over. Move on. Thats easy. Dalton = Bree's and Brady.....WRONG Bengals most talented.......WRONG so please explain once again how the most talented team loses again to a 6 seed team in their first playoff game again. It can't be because of a horrible coach, you made it perfectly clear he isn't. So it must be because the "Talent" just wasn't good enough to get it done. How could that be though? We were the most talented team. Prove me wrong FC.
