January 1, 201412 yr .........and/or the Duke QB made 2 bad plays in the 4th quarter. First one was an excellent defensive play. Second one he has to eat that ball and take the sack.
January 1, 201412 yr It was an awesome game and one of the best individual performances I have seen in a long time he has been so fun to watch!
January 1, 201412 yr Off the field he was an attention getter, but on the field dude is as competitive as it comes and he appears to be a tremendous leader. That changes up a lot of things for me. On the field play is great, on the field antics are awful and I not talking the high fives, excitement that he plays with -it's the taunting "showing up opponets and ref's that he does consistently. Just seems to me like the guy has no respect, thinks that he is above the coach and the game itself. I have no use for it and don't care how good, no one is above the game. jmo

January 1, 201412 yr I agree that Manziel is the most exciting player in college football, one would have to be a very special kind of stupid to deny his talent. Having said that, I hope that he declares for the nfl because I cannot stand the guy. Anyone that acts, thinks that he is above the game of college football I have no use for. I am sure that others feel different and am fine with that. JMO "Johnny Look-at-me" is an arrogant spoiled brat. Again, the guy is a great football player but I would be fine with never having to watch him again. As for Duke football I agree as well, Cutcliffe has done an awesome job with that program, he didn't re build Duke football, he built Duke football. Duke's players play the game hard and with respect for the game. I can't believe that the words are coming from me but I was rooting so hard for Duke  in this one. My disclaimer in pulling for Duke is that it was football, not basketball. The guy was what 19 when he won the Heisman? How many 19 or 20 year olds do you know who wouldn't have loved all the attention of being the top college football player in the country. People seem to forget that just because they are a great player, doesn't make them older than what their actual age is. College for many are the best years of a person's life, and he did what a majority of college students would have done with that much fame at such a young age. Now if he is still acting that same way off the field when he is around 25 or something then you have a point. He was a college kid living the college life, and as long as it had no impact on how hard he worked when it came to football, then what is the problem?
