I thought this game would not have been very close...congrats MC.

You were closer than anyone in the prediction thread...a discussion that came up among mcpapa, LCDAWGS19, & myself.

When Mason County plays like this the can play with - I didn't say beat - but they can play with anyone in the 10th. Still some things to work on like giving up second chances, but an encouraging performance. Randy summed it up in post #8.

And Augusta doesn't need to hang their heads. They are LIGHT YEARS ahead of where they were just a handful of seasons ago. And while Bach is far and away the main reason, they're not exclusively a 1-man show. It will be interesting to see how they respond in this evening's game.

Most noticeable differences between Mason County last year & Mason County this year:

1) Point guard play. Antwavon Williams was outstanding last night. Royals didn't have anything like that last year.

2) Jake O'Mara. He's really bulked up & become a very nice post player.

There were other things too, such as the play of Amani Thomas, but those were the two kids that stuck out to me the most. Very impressed by Williams.

Kudos to you...figured it would be a tight game.

Is that aimed at fans at the game?

I was at all 4 games yesterday, and I didn't hear this read. We read it at all games, and, to my knowledge, it is directed at EVERYONE in the gym.

I'm all for the student sections having fun, but there is a line. Talking about a kid's ACT score is way past that line.

You don`t have a clue what they were saying ,but if you listened to radio you could here every word.Let`1s just say it was XXX- rated.

By which student section?

I'll admit there were several times I couldn't hear them. So It went WAY beyond the line? They also had signs, but I was in the upper level and couldn't read those.

How dare those mean ole kids talk about his ACT score.:lol2: That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Maybe they should suspend them all for bullying, come on people it's a student section I agree there shouldn't be anything said X-rated but talking about an ACT score is not a big deal.

My outlook is Support your team, no need to down grade the opposing teams players.

Then you've completely lost perspective on what HS athletics are about.
