January 2, 201412 yr For some, it's really hard to grasp that Louisville can compete with the "bigger" jobs when it comes to money. Not always "win" with the money, but at least make the bigger guys really pay out if they want to steal a coach away. I find it hilarious you believe Louisville can compete with Texas with money.

That said, Louisville isn't getting into a bidding war with Texas and Louisville wouldn't win a bidding war with Texas.

Louisiville has come a long way and is a very well run athletic department. But they aren't getting in a bidding war with Texas and liking the outcome. But it seems to not matter anyway now.

January 2, 201412 yr Bottom line: Louisville can outspend the vast majority of teams. Texas is not one of them.
