Hoge will definitely be the most dynamic qb in NKy next year. The kid can kill you with his arm or his legs. He is also an extremely smart football player. I guess having Merrill as your dad doesn't hurt when trying to learn the game. Beau should be worth the price of admission next year..

I always wondered with him if he would rather be a RB or a QB? I have watched him throw some and he really does have a nice arm. I see him having a fantastic year. May not have all theyards passing as Houliston had this year but I think that doesn't have much to do with his arm as to he will be running a lot more than Drew did this year.

I didn't realize Merrill Hoge is a Highlands grad until you just mentioned that, also didn't realize Hoge from Highlands waiting in the wings at QB was his son.

He graduated from Highland in Idaho, not Highlands in Ft. Thomas.

Drew Moore. I would like to see his numbers for 2013. I actually thought he was better in 2012 than 2013. I do agree, a lot of potential and definitely one of the top returning players.

 

It's very likely that his numbers were better in 2012. He had a better group of receivers. For his senior season, his best option may be for him to throw the ball and then go catch it.

There should be another group of good QB's next year in N. Ky. Moore and Hoge are the seniors in the group but there are going to be some very talented young QB's to watch - JR. Kyle Fieger, Soph. Racke and Von Handorf. I am sure I am missing someone but those are the first names that come to mind.

Ahhhhhh ok that makes more sense. I was wondering how I'd never heard about this until now. Thanks for the clarification, rather random that he went to Highland and his son ends up at Highlands.
