50 States, 50 Pizzas

That's what I'm talking about! I don't prefer the particular pie they chose, but it doesn't matter which one you choose, it's amazing. I will say, their sausage is the only sausage I will order on a pizza. It's reasoned perfectly and ground fine, which ensures a complete covering across the whole pie. Congrats to my fave!

Some of those aren't pizzas.

New York pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. I've had it from two or three places in NYC and it's all good.

That pizza looks awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must have it one day. Impellizeri's in Louisville, Spin. I may have to come up to Louisville for games a couple of times. :D

I have a friend who is a transplant from Chicago that swears that Chicago Pizza is the absolute best in the world, and that our local stuff is crap. I don't know if that's just her being biased of her hometown, but she's seriously adamant about that. I have no reason to doubt her about that as she looks like she's going through withdrawal when she has to suffer though what she refers to as a lame slice of pizza here.

BTW... thanks for the thread as it's given me a great idea of what to have for dinner tonight!

Take a wild guess what's in my oven as I'm typing this reply?

If y'all go to Impellizzeri's and don't invite me....there WILL be wrath!

Chicago is known for their stuffed pizza. Excellent. My favorite is Giordano's. I think Derrick Rose just bought into the company. Saw him doing some promo work there last fall.

I have had Giordano's also. It is definitely unique and I enjoyed every bite of it.

I really like Goodfellas better than Giordano's and the other Chicago pizzas I have had but I am a big fan of New York style pizzas.

I haven't been to the place listed for NY but I have been to Grimaldi's and John's Pizzeria and they are both outstanding.

I saw Imo's listed for Missouri. Had it a few times in St Louis.

"St Louis pizza" is interesting. Very, very thin crust with no yeast and processed cheese. Better than it may sound.

We still have a tentative date to the French restaurant.

Big fan of this, Uno's had a "great" deep dish pizza.

Not a fan of pizza on "a piece of cardboard", but I'll take your word it's better than it sounds.

Is this the French Restaurant who's name sounds like women's undergarments?

Rockmom will know what I am talking about, she had a good laugh at me.
