Suit Alleges Man's Anus Was Searched By Police 8 Times - No Drugs Were Found

Featured Replies

Man is stopped for a minor traffic violation (failure to make a complete stop). Officer wants to search his anus. One Doctor at the ER refused to do the search. Officers continue anyway, eventually forcing him to undergo a a colonoscopy, which is a surgical procedure that required him to be sedated. Also, looks like the warrant might have been invalid. Looks like someone has some explaining to do.

As someone with common sense, wouldn't you get tired of searching someone's anus after the 3rd or 4th time?

I can just picture a guy still insisting that even after the 7th search and an x-ray performed by physicians STILL hasn't found evidence of anything, they just know the 8th freakin' time will be the charm.

You get one search. After that you better start buying me dinner.

When the story got to the colonoscopy part I could NOT have been the only that thought this was heading toward a punch line.

No punch line. Just a lottery ticket that the recipient could fill out after the drawing.

A few things come to mind.

1: What could you possibly find after searching one's anus a second time that you missed the first time? Not to mention the 3rd, 4th...etc. time.

2: After the 1st search it simply becomes a game. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

3: That guy probably felt similar to me when I read posts by certain posters. Anally abused...

He shore does have a purty anus.

Seems like crappy police work to me.

It stinks

Does anyone think this guy had a clean rap sheet going into this? I don't see the cops going after someone this hard just for blowing a stop sign.

Still seems a little overboard.

I don't think the rap sheet matters honestly in this case. But I agree that this guy has to have some sort of history.

I want to know why they thought the man had something up his butt.

Logic seems to have been thrown out the window. Generally, I would think people shove things up their butt in a hurried situation. How would he accomplish that while seated and driving?
