So again, Scott County loses in the Title Game in 2011. Loses by 1 point to Trinity in the Semis last year and is undefeated this year. Bringing back the majority of those players. And that is the only losses they have on their schedules in 3 years.........But they cant lay claim to being the best this season so far, seeing that they have continued their trend of winning and other traditional powers have slipped a bit back to the field???? Folks will find out soon enough as the playoffs begin......

What you're missing is what everyone else's doubts are. I guess people feel if you placed Scott County in the super district would they be undefeated? If Scott played a team that could even halfway challenge them, would they be undefeated? If they were on the same side of the bracket as T, X and would they make it to the championship?

They have more than earned it with their play this season, and have been at the top of the heap for the last few years......Their trend and pattern over that time frame more than justify why they have earned the right to be ranked that high. I couldnt care any less about any of teams mentioned, especially Scott County. But whats real is real.

Your first mistake is bringing in past performance. The rankings are for the team, not the program so none of their past performances merit a mention in this thread honestly. Secondly who have they played this season, to "more than earn it" ? That's what the hoopla is about. Frankly I could care less because its all going to sort itself out in a few weeks. Rankings are just thread fodder.

They stood toe to toe with Trinity with all of it on the line and lost by 1 in a game they dominated for the majority, how did your team do in comparison with St. X. Also, Scott County beat Male along the way if Im not mistaken. Its simply the super district (and rightfully so in most instances) to arrogantly say, well if they were in theSuper District what would or wouldnt happen.........You cant thump your chest about how tough your district is then turn around and cry about playing in it.. IT is the SUPER DISTRICT afterall.....

And your first mistake is creatinig hypotheicals to stand your ground on. It is fodder so thats why these discussions happen. IF they played here, or IF they played here......The reason past performance is brought up is due to the fact that not playing in the super district hasnt stopped their success over the last few seasons, and this is the best group that they have fielded to date. So while parity has sat in the Super Disctrict, Scott county has built a team worthy of contention. Not unlike 2011, or 2012........

And to add to it. The current #2 was beaten by Scott County last season 56-6 and 47-9 in the playoffs. But Hey, they arent from the Super District so it doesnt matter either......

First of all, past performance doesn't predict future results, I've already said that. My team is St. X if you didn't know. Once again Scott didn't lose by 1 and all that doesn't really matter because they lost. My point was, yes they can play hard for one single game, but how would they fare if they had played that schedule for the whole season? Lastly, :lol: I have never cried about the "super-district" which just became super this season.
