Due to Joker's ineptness. Just sayin. Worst coach ever.

Do you really think Johnny from Pikeville cares about that? He doesn't even remember whether or not UK and WKU played this year, but he sure is excited about this years UK basketball team.

Possible, but the fact remains WKU is just as good, or a better, football program then UK.

They definitely have a very good argument as to the last few years.

No one's arguing that, it's the perception that hurts.

What is interesting in this topic is last year Quick pretty much ran away with the award, can't remember his numbers though but I would think Fant's has to be better when broken down by games.

Competition level probably plays into the equation.

Seems to me BG's competition this year has been pretty good.

I think more than anything, it comes down to publicity. Just like this year pre season all the talk was about Barker, last year it was all about Quick.

Although the players performance definitely plays into the talk, the popularity vote has as much if not even more to do with it.

No problem with BG's competition but its nowhere near T's which I believe influences people and of course adds to the buzz.

The way I look at it is that you have to be twice as dominant to make up for a schedule that is half as strong. So far, Fant has fit that bill.

Big difference is BG has won their games, T hasn't. Advantage BG

What are you talking about? It certainly has zero to do with The buzz around Fant vs Quick. You really have an obsession with T vs BG, give it up.

No doubt, I'm just addressing why Quick last year had more of a buzz about him than Fant this year.
