South Oldham 31 Cooper 20

Featured Replies

Final.

Puts SO in command of the district.

I think I read Cooper was up in the 2nd half.

Big finish by SO.

Should put Cooper at the 4 seed in a district where 1 through 4 seem to be really close.

Cooper again did something to upset the officials. They took another TD away which would of tied the game at the end and called it a S Oldham Int.

Close 1-4? looks like South Oldham is a clear number one??

They are indeed the clear #1 in victory totals. However, their games with Conner and Cooper have been barnburners. 1 thru 4 are very tight.

Yep, it's a coin flip. Cooper could be 6-1, just been snake bit. Hope they can take care of buisness in 2 weeks against Grant and then move into playoffs when it's a brand new season.

Cooper dominated the game tonight but just had too many turnovers again, 3 int's. They will be fine tthough. These kids never give up.

If Castleman is out it will be a long night for the Eagles..

So both players had it and they gave it to the defense?

You might be surprised. Teams don't win like Scott is because of one player. If they have a capable back up, Scott might be ok.

So what happened to Castleman?

South Oldham hasn't played Scott yet, have they? That will be for the #1 seed.

So. Oldham has some nice players. On the controversial call that took the TD away from Cooper, the Cooper receiver and the So. Oldham CB talked after the play and the So. Oldham player told #12 the officials blew the play, but he was happy with the way it went lol. So. Oldham has a couple nice receivers also. Another game that gaies down to the end. Curious on what Ludwigs final numbers were that game, although he had some int's I still think he had close to 300 yards passing and 2 TD's to Fussinger who may have had somewhere between 150-200 yards receiving tonight.

Cooper's offense can deffinatly move the ball when needed to, the defense just needs to be a bit more consistent. It was a good game, just a shame, just like the Scott game that the officials can't let the teams decide the game on the field.

Bruised knee from what I understand. Should be ok for next week, probably would have went back in if the game had been close. Castlemen is good, but the Sophomore Roberto London is the real deal. He'd probably be starting for any other team in the district.

That game is next week at Scott.

They still have to beat Scott. They wrap it up with a victory next week. But I think, if Scott wins, and if they beat Mason County in the last game, they win the district, even if they lose to Conner. Scott, SO, and Conner would all end 3-1. That would give Scott's defeated opponents 20 wins. I think the most Conner could end up with would be 17 (and they'd have to beat Cov Cath). The best SO could end up with is 10.

When there is a 3-way tie, you cannot count wins against any of the other two teams you are tied with. So if Scott, Conner, and SO end up tied Scott would have to count wins from Holmes, WJ, Holy Cross. Mason County would end up being a huge game if there is a 3-way tie.

I would think Scott would be favored against Mason County. I know nothing about Mason county or the kind of schedule they played. I've heard they've got a really good running back. Plus the game is at Mason County. It won't be a cakewalk
