#76 Defensive Lineman for Dixie was tough on the camels all night.

Washington and Moore are quick, real quick.

Penalties on some big plays hurt Dixie

 

Avery Wood ran hard tonight and had some deep passes that should have been caught.

D line for camels had some nice penetration tonight and D backs were improved.

Zabonic runs a real nice out pattern and has great hands. Came up big tonight.

 

Fun game, frustrating a little for both teams, but fun.

A comment was made in the update thread that Dixie was passing a lot. Did they go away from their run game tonight?

Does Dixie not travel well? I was really shocked with the lack of Dixie fans for a 5-1 team.

IMO, Dixie is a much better offensive team when they play good old Woody Hayes style football and keep pounding it on the ground. Did Campbell Co. take that away and force them to pass it?

Congratulations to the Camels and Coach Lickert. Corners showed up tonight for the Camels, at least for the part of the game I was able to watch. They got a crash course last week on how not to cover a receiver. Good job Camels. You were on my NKY regional contest week #8 pick list.

No one has answered the question yet about Dixie's offense so I will go ahead and say this. If Dixie did not run the ball at least 80% of their plays tonight, that will help explain this loss.

I only saw the 1st half, they tried to rub the ball quite a bit. Had 1 big run around the right side. Camels were stopping the run.

They ran the ball a lot tonight, they had to throw at the end, up against the clock. Camels defense just played exceptionally well tonight. Dixie's 1st play on O, #34 was off to the races and LB Nick Sauerback caught him from behind inside the 10 and Dixie didn't score. Later in the game Dixie had 4th and 1 and the Camels stopped them also. Dixie has some weapons on Offense, but Camels D was just that good tonight. Best I've seen them look all year.
