mountainwarrior
Gilbert's hand is broke, their starting point guard is out for the season with a knee injury and the 6th and 7th men decided to leave the team. Wolfe was big time low on their players but still tried.

BadCat
I really think that sometimes players transferring from one school to another just for the purpose of playing a sport is as often detrimental to a team and the player as it is helpful. The kids that have playing time cut are resentful (as well as their parents), and I believe that fan expectations are unrealistic, putting way too much pressure on the transferring player. I hope that what has happened to a couple of schools in the area causes parents, coaches and the kids themselves to really think hard before they make such a serious decision, just for the purpose of basketball or any other sport, and make sure they are doing the right thing before making, or encouraging, a move.
