October 3, 201312 yr I agree. There's a possibility that Tony is bored. No doubt Tony and Walt still talk regularly. But first the clubhouse issues must be addressed and some players sent to other teams. That's what Marty and the Cowboy were talking about tonight in the seventh inning. What clubhouse issues? I remember listening to Marty and Brantley talking about this as well. I did not know there were any issues in the clubhouse. I don't recall them expounding on the subject either.
October 4, 201312 yr Joe Maddon. If I were a Reds fan, I'd want him because he can at least bring some energy and rejuvenation. Don't think it's really realistic that it happens, but look what he's done in Tampa Bay and think of what he could do in Cincinnati.
October 4, 201312 yr The Reds have a window of opportunity. It has only a few years left. They need a short term solution at manager, and that is Tony La Russa. Bring him in for 3-5 years, let him right the ship. Win a few playoff series and a World Series and sail off into the sunset. They need a no nonsense winner, not whimp in the dugout.
