The tigers (3-2) travel to the beehive on Friday in search of a big victory from the yellowjackets(3-2). The yellowjackets have all the momentum coming off a 87-6 win while the tigers dropped a game to the crusaders(OH) 24-12. Will this momentum be enough, for the yellowjackets to get their first victory over the tigers in the 32nd contest?

87-6??? I thought the final score was 20-14. Yellowjackets struggle with putting the ball in the endzone. Do the starting FB and HB get to come back from suspension this week. They have not played all season.

As the loss to perennial "power" Doss attests this is not a Central team of the same caliber as in recent years. After a loss I see a fairly lopsided Tiger win and the running clock could be used.

I look for an upset in this game!!!! Yellowjackets show speed, focus on shutting down the pass and key on the running game.

X 28 Central 21 - good game, but X too big and wear down Central in end.

I think the season starts over this week for the Tigers. I can't see Central keeping it real close if they have already struggled against Manual. I say Tigers score early and often. 34-16

X is up, Central is down. I think X wins by something like 42-12. I mean this. I am not blowing smoke.

From previous scores I would have to agree with a previous post in that this is not the same Central team. They may be a little down this year, and while St. X may not be up to their preseason expectations that are a pretty solid team. Central will see pretty solid dose of Walker and Davis in this game as the Tigers, in my opinion will try to stay as vanilla as possible this week.

 

They need to find a way to get Nagle some confidence. Have not seen a game live, but it just sounds like BJ lacks confidence or is putting too much pressure on himself.

Will St. Xavier fan base fill the visitors side at the hive? Will they take over the home side as well?
