Sounds like these guys have some work ahead of them. 2010 state champs lost 4 games as freshmen so these guys need to stay focused on improving, good luck to them.

To clear up the Beechwood players named in the thread, Aiden Justice is the QB and Trevor Soward is the RB.

I'm sure the Frosh Birds will get the ship pointed in the right direction before next Wednesday when the Colonels come to town.....

 

Sounds like Beechwood got some players back from injury that didn't play in their earlier games.

 

Good luck to both teams the rest of the season..... except when they play the Colonels, of course.

I was told by a couple of the Ft. Thomas faithful over a month ago that the Freshman Birds would be lucky to be .500. I thought they were sandbagging, and basically told them I thought so.

 

Looks like I was wrong and owe a couple of folks an apology and a an adult beverage for me questioning their truthfulness.

 

It's been a while since a team from Park Hills is a prohibitive favorite in Football game against Highlands. I think it is safe to say that will be the case next week when the two freshman squads meet.
