Conner didn't try to run the ball much with a running back.

 

Trosper has had the same game plan for a while. Even when they had West they very rarely ran the ball with an Rb out of the spread which seems odd to me. I don't see how that option wouldn't make their offense even better but offense hasn't been their issue, it's the other side that hurts them.

I thought SK had the option of 1) Conner re-kicking 2) Taking the ball at the spot where it went out of bounds (around the 20, which is what they chose).

Shot pics of the game. When I got home and looked at the pics, #25 and 10 from conner were in just about every play. Dang those boys must have been tired

 

#10 got rocked on the kickoff return prior to half. His bell had to be ringing on that one.

After reviewing the rules, you get the ball 25 yds from the spot of the kick. Conner kicked off from the 50 so the 25 would be the spot.

The placement of the ball after the OOB kick is determined by where the kickoff team kicked from. In this case there had been a roughing penalty against SK on the XP so Conner moved up 15 yards , thus, the placement is going to be 15 yards different.
