I wish Conner was still 6A. The rematch in the playoffs would have been fun to watch.

 

I don't think I have the heart to watch many SK/Conner games. The four games have been video game like.

 

Grant Wassom #15. Probably the play of the game. If SK doesn't move the chains there it could have been a different outcome.

Late in the 4th. SK trying to run clock. Conner using TOs. 3rd and long. Instead of taking the safe route and running it SK chooses to pass. AWay was ALL OVER the receiver yet BK put it on the receiver (Winkler?) and he made a crazy good catch to keep the clock moving.

 

That was a spectacular catch and really a great throw by Kuntz who was being pressured as he rolled out of the pocket.

Was placed at the 25. That's what I was referring to in my previous post when I had joked about how the refs were going to screw up the spot of the ball at the 40. The ball went out of bounds, no one from SK touched it and they call illegal procedure against SK. Weird

I thought SK had the option of 1) Conner re-kicking 2) Taking the ball at the spot where it went out of bounds (around the 20, which is what they chose).

Coach Marksberry was rather animated. I'm not sure why he would choose against a re kick as that was their worst starting position of the night. Not to mention the fact that the penalty was call an illegal procedure against SK. Still not sure what happened.

For the most part there really weren't a great deal of penalties either. Both teams definitely came prepared.

He probably chose against the re-kick because Conner (hopefully) would have had a better onside kick with a chance to recover.
