Final from Breathitt County

Colonels might as well go ahead and add the temporary seating on the visitor side for when they host Belfry Thanskgiving Weekend

Yep. No stopping the Colonels until they meet Belfry.

May be one of the best games held in the Commonwealth all season.

Bourbon's Coach did them no favors with scheduling to prepare for Belfry. Breathitt County and Garrard County may be the best teams they will face..Belfry has already played two teams significantly better than anyone BC will face. After the physical whipping they took last year you would think he would at least try to pick up a couple teams to really push his team to improve.

I have to see Bourbon's line play before I can make a call on this. Belfry dominated the Colonels up front last season. I suspect it might be different (at least a little bit) this year.

I picked Bourbon County but expected a more narrow margin.

I'm not really shocked with this outcome. I was following this game to see just what we could expect from Breathitt, and unfortunately they are probably just going to struggle, especially by their standards. Maybe facing Bourbon is not the best litmus test, as Bourbon is simply going to be on another level than the Bobcats. I thought maybe Breathitt would exceed expectations and surprise us but it appears as though the early concerns for this team were warranted and they have an uphill battle ahead of them to get back to where I know they want to be.

Congratulations to Bourbon County, it looks like your team has picked up right where it left off last season. Hopefully we will meet somewhere down the road.

Thank you Watusi, Bourbon County kids & Coaches have been working hard & looking forward to this season, looks like they are on a mission this year & playing with a lot of confidence, if they keep working hard, getting better, stay healthy and keep winning there is a good chance they will get their home rematch will Belfry that they are so looking forward to, Good Job & Good Luck Bourbon County!!!
