Per our boy:

As soon as Puig comes to the plate tomorrow, he should be plunked for sliding into home on west coast. We won't because our team is full of vaginas. I would be so great because you know the great 8 still hate the Dodgers even though one the old Dodger vaginas is our manager.

Taking 3 of 4 was nice, but man that should have been a sweep.

Taking 3 of 4 was mandatory. Mission accomplished...

Coming into the series a lot of us would have been happy with taking three from the Cardinals, so at least we got that. I'm with you about still wanting that win last night, but I'm very happy. Have to think the Reds are in Wainwright's head a little too now.

After this series, I have to think the Reds are confident going against any of the starting pitching St. Louis could throw out there in a 1 game playoff.

Would they really run Wainwright out there if they end up playing in the WC matchup?

I keep wondering that same thing UKMF. The Reds certainly have his number right now.

If the last game of the season, or last couple, will decide the NL Central and since they won't be playing the Reds those days, I bet they will use him them if they can. If he's up for that game it will be an interesting decision.

Haven't seen this posted anywhere:

Mark Sheldon: *RHP Johnny Cueto (lat) threw 40 pitches in the bullpen and LHP Sean Marshall (shoulder) threw 30 pitches. Asked to rate the sessions, head trainer Paul Lessard said Cueto was “close to a 10,” while he gave Marshall “eight.” Both pitchers will have another bullpen session on Saturday.

Would be a big boost to the team down the stretch run to have Cueto return.

I wonder if he will return in a bullpen role?

They don't play St Louis tonight...
