Was Russellville's victory more impressive than Beechwood's?

Featured Replies

Russellville trying to move up the ranks beat a way better than average Fort Campbell team.

While Beechwood played and beat a 6A Ohio team .

Will the voters of 1A switch around a few teams?

Should they switch them around? What do you think?

I don't know enough yet. I think it could be a three team race.

Pikeville beat Hazard tonight. What about them?

Not likely

Pikeville and Hazard played one hell of a game. Pikevilles first win against Hazard since 2006.

Yes it was more impressive. Ba win was expected and their margin should have been alot more. Rville beating a above average but not great FC team was a better quality win to me

Not sure week one means a lot other than a lot of mistakes were made that need to be cleared up, and young players are going to have to grow into their positions, which is sometimes painful. IMO the muddy water will start to clear about week 5.

Would Ft. Campbell beat Lima Senior?

Would Ft. Campbell beat Lima Senior?

No!!!

No!!!

You have absolutely no way of knowing that. Would Beechwood beat Ft Campbell? I'd say no, but, again, I can't really say for sure, but, I'm sure I have a better idea about that than you do about Ft Campbell or Lima..

IMO Ft.Campbell would not beat a DII school from Ohio..You have a better idea because WHY?

At this point given what we know about Lima and FC I think FC is better thus the answer I gave that Rville win was more impressive. This is all about opinion and we all have them

So an average 3a school beats a pretty good 1a school in Ky and that is something special? I guess I am missing something? :idunno:

Didn't a Ky 1a team just beat an Ohio DII team? Why wouldn't I think that? I'm not going to pretend to know anything about Lima, but, you shouldn't pretend to know anything about Ft Campbell. That's why I used the Beechwood/Ft Campbell example. At least I've seen both these teams play several times over the past few years. I do know Ft Campbell returned several players from a 9-3 team that also beat a solid Tilghman team that imo, would have beaten Beechwood the last 4 years, with possibly the exception of 2011. I also know Ft Campbell has a lot of very good skill players, but, are young in the trenches. I also know Ft Campbell won 3 straight 2a championships a few short years back and knocked off NCC along the way, who, by most, put them at Beechwoods level or above during that time, and, granted, different years, different teams, different players, etc, but, with all this, why would it be so hard to fathom that some may feel Ft Campbell could beat a Lima team, when Beechwood just did it? I don't get it.
