Beechwood win! BW lost senior rb mitchell thomas 1st qt was a big blow to the team, and the young kids step up and made plays

Didn't some state in a in another thread that the lima team from ohio the past two years was 0-10 and 1-9?

Russellville trying to move up the ranks beat a way better than average Fort Campbell team.

 

While Beechwood played and beat a 6A Ohio team .

 

Will the voters of 1A switch around a few teams?

 

For those familiar with Ohio Beechwood's opponent is a Division 1 school (ie large school division).

IMO Ft.Campbell would not beat a DII school from Ohio..You have a better idea because WHY?

So, there is no DII Ohio school that could be beaten by Fort Campbell? Just by virtue of being a DII "Ohio" school they all would win?

 

I just don't understand the NKY love affair with Ohio football. You can not measure all Ohio football on Cincinnati.

Daviess Co is a 6a school, so, I guess that makes them another Trinity, huh? Kind of the same thing, isn't it?

It's not a N. Ky love affair with Ohio football. It is a national belief that Ohio football is that good. If you list the top 5 football states for college recruiting, Ohio would be one of them. Stoops is getting highly ranked recruiting classes at UK because he is recruiting Ohio very hard.

 

I haven't seen Ft. Campbell or McCracken County, but my guess is Lima is closer to McCracken County than they are to Ft. Campbell. I have seen Conner, who will be ranked in the top 5 in KY 5A this week, and Lima would be a challenging game for them. Conner would probably win by 2, perhaps 3, TD's but it would be a battle.

Guru said they play Connor's style but had more like a Holmes talent level. That's a big difference. No disrespect to Holmes because they have some athletes. But, I'd take Ft Campbell all day long against Holmes and McCracken Co, I don't think would even be close.

I understand that, but there are something like 800 football playing schools in Ohio. Just because some of them, or for argument sake, half of them are some of the best football teams in the country, that does not mean they are all the best in the country.

 

Have you ever seen Green Local play? They are an Ohio school, them must be great right? How about South Point? Ironton is normally great, how are they this year?

I really don't think Lima is even close to McCracken County. Going by what the Beechwood poster have said about their win against Lima is that both teams had very sloppy play. I would say in my opinion if Russellville and Beechwood were to play tomorrow and I had to choose I wwould take Rville. Now, later in the season my view could change.
