The issue is only with standardized tests, right?

The way I read it those words or topics aren't being banned from the classroom entirely.

 

Like has been discussed, how could a history teacher do his job if he cannot discuss war, slavery, politics or religion?

 

When you do something as silly as banning words, I'd say it could be a slippery slope.
