Dale is way over the top saying his qb could have been all-state as a soph.

No he's not.

Could single handedly be the best Dale interview since the '99 season with Don Weber.....we're a little ticked off....

Care to explain your opinion? We are obviously not at practice every day to see how good or bad any of these players are. It is his opinion.

Loved that interview too! Funny thing is, he was not kidding then either.

I think the kid will have a strong senior year but two years ago he was not physically ready to be a varsity qb - as is the case with most sophomores.

This is Dale building up his guy which I'm cool with but this is too much for me.

I agree with you...a little much but thats Dale. He could have been a solid player as a soph but not all state. Dale just doing what he does.

Dale obviously thinks Drew can handle the pressure of all the praise he's getting. Those of us lucky enough to catch his Soph. action could see he's pretty special.

Seems to be working for Dale.

No question.

Yes he does, why do you ask?

Because I did not see his name listed.

You did not see it listed where? I am confused. Did not know that rosters were actually posted somewhere yet.

In Walter's report.

Gotcha! He is in fact on the team and practicing, I can tell you that.

Good to hear. He was a stud on the Frosh back in the Championship game I watched them beat CCH in 3 years ago.

Does the Hayes kid not play for Highlands anymore?

Hayes is indeed playing and is poised to have a great senior year. Probably not listed in the article because HHS will use a lot of single back sets, and that will be Zach Harris. Jalen will be a change of pace back - he has very good speed - and he will be huge in the return game. I think teams will think twice before kicking deep, Hayes has the ability to take it the distance with every touch - much like Seidl did last year.
