Pineville 100 Middlesboro 75

Featured Replies

Great win for the Mountain Lions. This is the first time in a very long time since Pineville has but triple digits up on the board. The game was well in hand the entire ball game and Middlesboro really posted no threat. Nobody played bad for Pineville. Dustin Day was just too much to handle. He absolutely destroyed Middlesboro down inside he had to be close to the upper 30's in points (I don't know any stats). As for Middlesboro, Stuart Miller played great as usual and was the heart and soul of their offense. If Middlesboro could find as good of coach as they have potential they could have the makings of a good team here in a couple of years. And just as the sign said, "J.D.'s boys know how to 'raise the roof!'"

The villager was right and I was wrong. I didn't think there was that big of a difference between Middlesboro and Pineville.

I'd forgot completely about that. The Mountain Lions are rolling.

WOW 100points is a lot of points!

Pineville has a big game Tuesday night at home. The Clay County Tigers are coming to town and if the Mountain Lions can lay one on the Tigers it would make a big statement for them. Pineville is a lot better than people think. I mean, they lose by 5 and 1 to Barbourville, and defeat Corbin on the road. And the nice thing about this team is they are very young. They're not 16-4 for nothing.

Pineville is 17-4 and is working on the first 20 win season for Pineville in a very long time. The Clay Co. game will probably be the big respect game. IF (and thats a big word) they can when that then I believe all heads will turn.

Good win Lions. I can't wait til Tuesday. Pineville is tryin to make the statement that they can play in the 13th and Clay is trying to bounch back from a tough loss. Should be a heck of a game.

This game was very odd for Pineville considering they have been averaging around 60+ pts. a game and only been givin up around 50 pts. a game.

All heads should have turned a long time ago, P'ville is a solid team with a very good coach. Should be a great game vs Clay on Tuesday.

P'ville has really made a huge turnaround. Nice win for Pumas!

Heads are already turning at 17-4...Pineville is my favorite mountain team...hope I don't jinx them... :dancingpa

Was at this game. Pineville had their way inside. Day probably had 40 or more. Midddlesboro probably shot 40 3's. One shot each time down the floor and Pineville had the ball back. Pineville has a nice team, can play with the rest of the 13th besides South.

Clay had better be ready for the Mt. Lions because they are better than the Bell Co. team that beat Clay last week. Day may be the best post player in the 13th region, we may find out after he goes against Clay's strong inside game.

100 points.......I am impressed. Is this Pineville team that explosive? If so, I would like to see them play.

What style of ball do they play on a regular basis? Full court pressure?
