and I can't think of 2 more at the moment..lol

Wasn't there a pretty good little point guard about the same time as Penick? King, maybe? I liked his offensive skill set quite a bit.

Cooper was a true center, so no "F" by his name, and someone's got to bring the ball up the floor; so my top 5 would be:

C--Troy Cooper (Best true center of the bunch and was money on FT's)

F--Evan McDole (A beast athletically and the only four year varsity starter)

F--Kevin Smith (Best pure athlete and could jump out of the gym)

G--Justin Saunders (Would play a 2 on this team & could flat out score)

G--Jimmy Uebel (The glue that would hold any of the BB teams together--Competitor & lock down defender!)

Bench (But would see starter minutes)--Reiger, Trentman, Rhoden (early version), entire '07 team

I've heard from a couple of folks that those 07's were pretty good!

Chase King. Transferred from Ludlow to Covington Catholic, then back to Ludlow. Undersized but a pretty good player.

King is an outstanding youngman with a big heart. Nice player, Streaky shooter and was somewhat limited by his size.

I'm not 100% but he may have been on the UK flag football team with AJ Schreiver from CCH that won the national championship. Good athlete.

Confirmed it with my son. Chase was the QB.

I think you may be correct Clyde..

Grew up playing baseball against Chase King. He was apart of some pretty solid Ludlow Knothole teams. Honestly can't remember if he played high school ball or not but I remember him always being a good athlete.

Good athlete and an even better youngman.
