July 21, 201313 yr Always park in Bellevue and shuttle to Reds games, then hit 471 South to go home(Northern Ky.), have been told that t 471 South ramp is closed from Newport so what is the best directions to get back to 275 E or W. to get back to the Double A? Will be going to Reds games first week of August, will 471 South still be closed then? Thanks for any help.

Rt. 8 takes a left turn at the Levy. Keep going straight. That is Washington Street. Take Washington to 10th Street, turn left. A few blocks and you will see the ramp to south I-471 on your right. I am assuming that ramp is open.

Trust me, what ever is the easiest is best for me, not familiar when have to go off the beaten path:thumb: If the ramp at 10th St. is closed also, then the next easiest option is use the directions I gave you but don't turn left on 10th St. Keep going straight on Washington and it will dead end into 11th St. and take a 90 degree turn to the right. Go one block to Monmouth St. and turn left. Then go 2-3 blocks to Carothers Rd. and turn left. Carothers Rd. runs into 471. Hopefully that ramp to S 471 is open. So restating the directions simply, go straight on Rt. 8 past your normal ramp. Just keep going straight through a 90 degree turn to the left and then a 90 degree turn to the right till you hit Monmouth. Turn left on Monmouth, go 2-3 blocks to Carothers and turn left again to get to the S471 ramp. My only concern with those which I hope a Campbell Co. person will confirm is can you turn left onto Monmouth from 11th St. If yes, those are the easiest directions I can think of.

This is your best bet probably, but depending on traffic, it might be better to keep going through the streets of Newport to the Double A and get on 275 there. Both are probably about the same, but I might take the Double A option because 471 is a mess and sometimes this route gets backed up because so many are taking the detour. I doubt it is complete by the timeframe that you're looking for. The ramp VOR is suggesting is open.

May have not been the exact right choose of words, but what I really meant was that I get used to the same path to get somewhere, even as simple as a Reds game and not used to taking alternate routes,expecially when it is a surprise, that is why trying to find out everything before I head down to the game
