As I have said many times, with the exception of some of the documentary series, E60, 30-for-30, ..., etc., I only watch ESPN when a game is on or a replay of a game is on. Nothing appears to be happening to change that.

I with you Swampy. There was a time when I would watch the morning loop of SC over and over. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched a complete SC, they just hammer the same agenda over and over again.

Well, I just watched his opening segment tonight savaging the NCAA on its ruling on the Johnny Football case. Pretty interesting stuff in terms of the tone he took -- he attacked the NCAA's dishtowelinss the same way he would go after GOP whateverthehellthetalkingpointofthedayis. And I'm guessing most of the people who hate him from his political punditry days (at least on this board populated by right-leanin', Lord-lovin', Duck Dynasy-watchin', NCAA-hatin' UK fans) would've been nodding their heads the whole time Olbermann was on his rant on this night, because he was correct.

 

That said, what was last night's show like? It was the first one, right?

If you're going to nail the guy at least be accurate. He was the highest-rated show at MSNBC. His show saw a pretty steady increase in ratings during the 2008 election and then dropped off in 2009 as all of the networks did (ie no presidential election coverage to help).

Saying he had the highest rated show at MSNBC is not anything special. That network's ratings have never been impressive.
