It is now the first of July and by my count there are at least 92 schools that have incomplete schedules on the KHSAA website. The blame for this falls on the administrators and coaches responsible for posting these. Now my question is: Why would you not have your schedule posted? The news release from the KHSAA said all schedules should be posted by the end of May. Now I get a few teams may not be finished, but why not post what you have? And I'm not buying the "too busy" idea. First, it's the dead period. Second, as someone who has posted schedules before, it takes about five minutes to complete.

 

It isn't the end of the world, but many people are interested, and some folks (myself included) try to make trips to as many games as possible during the year and would like to develop a plan prior to opening night.

Agreed. Generally speaking a person will do the things that are a priority to them and avoid the things that aren't.

The KHSAA should have a deadline date to have these schedules posted. Oh wait, scratch that. The KHSAA would be doing something positive for football fans. What was I thinking.:ohbrother:

They do have a deadline. They just don't have any form of punishment if the deadline isn't met.

Someone needs to call them and ask exactly what there job entails.

That's fine if they want to to post them on these other sites, but the KHSAA website SHOULD BE their 1st priority. Some folks might not venture to these other sites, but the KHSAA is more than likely the 1st and only site folks go to. I say it's pure laziness if you ask me.

I would also check with the KHSAA, I know in respect to Thomas Nelson they don't even have them listed for the 2013 season. I would think that would be a KHSAA issue that they get them in the data base.

Same as it was when I first seen it. I don't know why they aren't activated on KHSAA for football

Couple things I do not get at all

 

1. If a coach updates his/her schedule on KHSAA and they play in a tournament and they list the team they are playing in whatever tournament, why don't they go ahead and post the location, time and tournament name instead of just posting the date, opponent?

 

2. If a coach makes their schedule out, why don't they post what they have and when they get finished with their schedule, finish updating their schedule on KHSAA instead of waiting forever to update it?

I've updated my schedules and I'm showing 33 teams without ten games. Now some of those schools may only be playing nine games, but that also means a couple dozen schools haven't posted a finalized schedule anywhere. I need the following COMPLETE schedules:
