June 28, 201313 yr The lady said he was straddling the guy on the bottom like riding a horse, and that the same person was on top the entire time. If that is so, how does the reported grass stains on TM Knees and wet back and grass stains of GZ fit your thought that GZ was on top during the entire fight.
June 28, 201313 yr What you said is possible, but I have trouble understanding how, if Martin were on top and was shot, wouldn't he fall on top of Zimmerman? Seems like you would roll the body off you, so Martin wouldn't have been face down. I would assume that there would also be some sort of blood spatter evidence on Zimmerman's clothes. From the limited amount of knowledge I do have on gunshot you wouldn't necessarily get blood splatter with an entrance wound as opposed to an exit wound.
June 28, 201313 yr If that is so, how does the reported grass stains on TM Knees and wet back and grass stains of GZ fit your thought that GZ was on top during the entire fight. I didn't say he was on top the entire fight, simply that the lady said he was on top the entire time she saw the altercation.
June 28, 201313 yr This witness said that TM was "Ground and Pounding" GZ and that TM WAS on top. Also saying that GZ was calling for help... Did prosecution witness just make the case for the defense? I just missed part of his testimony, that was what the HLN analyst said during a break. Could we be looking at a directed verdict?
June 28, 201313 yr Guy on the stand right now says he saw TM on top of GZ pounding him with punches. Actually he said he saw Martin on top, but never saw any punches or head being slammed into the concrete. He also said at some point during the confrontation the men changed positions. He also went back inside before the shot was fired, so he had no way to tell who was on top of whom when the gun was fired.
June 28, 201313 yr But there were no grass or wetness on the back of TM from what I have heard, if he was ever on the bottom wouldn't he have grass and water on his back as well?

Did prosecution witness just make the case for the defense? Could we be looking at a directed verdict? He said he "thought" the guy on the bottom was calling for help, and that he saw nor heard any punches. No different than the people who have claimed they "thought" Martin was the one calling for help.
June 28, 201313 yr He also said that they started out on one side of the yard and ended up on the other side. Sounds to me like they were rolling around on the ground and maybe each person was on top/bottom at different points. That would explain how one person saw TM on top and another saw GZ on top.
June 28, 201313 yr Biggest thing I see so far is that the prosecutor doesn't seem to be up to the task

Yes it would. Although from other testimony it seems apparent that GZ was on top last.
June 28, 201313 yr Has anyone besides Zimmerman testified as to who confronted who? I don't know for sure but I have yet to read anything that suggests anyone else saw the initial confrontation. It's pretty much GZ's account and what ever physical evidence they have.
June 28, 201313 yr Yes it would. Although from other testimony it seems apparent that GZ was on top last. Well, someone had to be. Unfortunately, that person brought a gun to a fist fight.
June 28, 201313 yr Witness said that in his opinion it was GZ calling for help! Two others have said in their opinion it was TM calling for help. How come this witness, who admitted on the stand that his testimony has changed since his initial statement, is more credible than them?
June 28, 201313 yr Yes it would. Although from other testimony it seems apparent that GZ was on top last. How did he shoot him in the chest if he was on top and TM ended up on his stomach on the ground? Seems more likely that GZ shot upward at TM and TM fell off of him on his stomach. I don't see murder 1, maybe murder 2 or manslaughter but not murder 1
