The huge block has overshadowed the entire second half beatdown.

The block was a nice highlight, but The Spurs were already something like 19 down when it happened.

Spurs shot something like 10-20 from 3 and still got taken to the woodshed.

Yeah Danny Green's been on fire. I've already came to the conclusion if it leaves his hands its going in.

People calling that the best block ever...

They're joking, right?

It is LeBron, no joke.

While an awesome play the degree of difficulty for LeBron on the block was about 3 on the scale of 10. I am not sure Splitter wasn't going to be stuffed by the rim had LeBron not got in the way. :lol2: The Hibbert block on Melo just from a few weeks ago was a lot better and more pivotal.

It was an athletic play, no doubt. I'm just failing to see all the hype about it. LeBron SHOULD block Splitter at the rim. The Hibbert block and the Robinson on LeBron block were both WAY more impressive, IMO.

Without a doubt.

IF LeYawn would have gotten right back into the fast break instead of posing it would have been great. Otherwise it's just another block IMO

The reason the block is so hyped is the surrounding possessions that occurred before and after the play.

I'm not saying it was the best block ever because it wasn't. However, it was a spectacular block. It was a dramatic block. It was a very entertaining block. Splitter never saw it coming and in a day and age when dudes get out of the way 90% of the time to avoid being posterized it was also a refreshing block. When a dude like Splitter is up like that people get out of the way nowadays. Lebron challenged it and won. Funniest block I have ever seen. Not the best but definitely the funniest. Especially since Splitter was going hard on that dunk.

I'll give you dramatic and entertaining. Other than that, it was routine. Like I said, LeBron should block that guy. It would be embarrassing if he didn't. If Haslem had made the block, we wouldn't even be talking about it.

It is Tiago Splitter. I love the guy because he plays for my Spurs, but it is still Tiago Splitter.

I disagree. It is so hyped because it is LeBron. If one did not know otherwise you would think that block saved the game for Miami when in reality it was over at that point.

Still an awesome play.

Lebron should have blocked Jordan Crawford too and I disagree. If Haslem makes that exact same block it would be talked about more because it would be more spectacular for Haslem to do it.

Flip it, if Splitter dunks it the Lebron haters would still be howling in laughter and mocking him.
