Wiggins is the top-rated player coming out of high school this year. How does he compare to the top-rated players in recent years, players like Davis, Muhammad and Wall? How would he compare to someone like Lebron James coming out of high school?

From what I have seen of Wiggins in the all star games and also YouTube material, and remembering LeBron James in his all star games from his high school days, there is no comparsion between the two players. James was much better at that age. So was Kobe.

From what I gather that seems pretty close to true. Of course, if he's better overall in his frosh year than Anthony Davis then he's going to have POY-type season.

I never saw Kobe play in HS. Saw youtube videos. None of which seem to be much better than Wig to be honest. Different body than LeBron. LeBron was a full grown man in HS. I don't know if there will ever be a LeBron

Kobe may have been better in HS. Kobe set the bar pretty high in the league. Odds are against reaching it, for anyone frankly.

Not much. It was ancient times back then. Word is that Kobe would let the opposing teams get a huge lead and then he would take over and win the game. He also played on a team from the Philly suburbs and not a super team/prep school. And I'm not hating on Wiggins. It'll just cost you money to get me to say that any kid coming out now is better than what Kobe was in high school. Kobe was drafted out of high school in what some say is one of the strongest draft classes ever. Granted the rules won't allow Wiggins to challenge that statement completely but if he came out this year it would still be one of the weakest draft classes ever.
