FBI miffed and upset the DOJ stopped the interrogation of Boston bomber.

All this is on Obama and Holder.

The FBI had no idea they were sending over the judge, the prosecutor, the federal public defender; and the FBI said they were only 16 hours into what they understood would be a 48 hour period of questioning … . They said they were in the process of getting valuable information … and as soon as that magistrate judge went in there and gave him his rights with his lawyer present, he stopped talking. They said they would never have stopped interrogating him prior to the 48 hours unless they were forced to.”

“These officials with knowledge of the proceedings say they believe our national security may have been compromised by the decision to send that judge in there so soon after the filing of the criminal complaint.”

Two officials with knowledge of the FBI briefing on Capitol Hill said the FBI was against stopping the investigators’ questioning and was stunned that the judge, Justice Department prosecutors and public defenders showed up, feeling valuable intelligence may have been sacrificed as a result.Megyn Kelly?s Surprise Revelation: FBI Was ?Shocked? to See Judge ?Waltz? in and Give Suspect Miranda Rights | Video | TheBlaze.com

Yes, I'm sure the FBI is furious.

Law enforcement's job would be a lot easier if the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments were completely ignored on every occasion.

Nothing Obama or Holder does surprises me..

Judge is the one taking the responsibility.

Judge Made Miranda-Rights Call in Boston Case - WSJ.com

"The judge first told the Justice Department on Saturday that she intended to read Mr. Tsarnaev his rights on Monday, according to people briefed on the discussions. One U.S. official said the judge cited the intense television coverage of the capture as one reason for initiating the criminal prosecution."

"The FBI was aware Judge Bowler was planning to go to the hospital Monday and was "not happy about it," he said. "They believed they needed more time. This is not a good way to stop another bomb from going off.""

Emphasis added.

So the Judge made it clear what she was going to do 2 days ahead of time. FBI still had all day Sunday. Justice could have requested a hearing before Monday, etc. etc. Seems like they just want their excuse if they fail to stop next attack.

I realize that the murderer's rights are important but they already have enough evidence on him to execute or imprison him for life no matter what he says or does not say..

Don't need any testimony. He can't incriminate himself any farther. So what would it hurt to question him more to potentially save other lives ??

They can still question him, he's just been formally told the Fifth Amendment exists. He has always had these rights, by the way, whether he was told about them or not.

A terrorist should not be awarded the rights of a common criminal in the United States period.

The more I hear this DBags mother speak up the more I wish she came here with his dad, let the Bostonian justice rain down on her arse too.

I have no symptahy for any terrorist and the Gov't screwed this up from the beginning. The Soviet Union had her on their no fly list and had her son as a terrorist and warned the US about him, yet the US lets him go home in 2012 to train and then allows him back in the country. The US Gov't has made this country even less secure with the current administration.

He's an American citizen so he gets labeled a terrorist when a jury decides he is... and they will. Very quickly, I'd imagine.

After he is labeled by terrorist by a jury what incentive does he have to "talk and tell all" at that point?

My rebuttal to that statement: Richard Jewell.

Maybe none. But these things either matter or they don't. As soon as we start deciding which citizens get constitutional protections on a case-by-case basis, we're not in a very good place.

I am all for individual rights but in cases of terrorism and/or national security I draw the line in the sand.

I don't know if that is a very good place, but it sure is a safer place.

Since when does a terrorist need a Jury to label him that? That makes no sense at all. I don't need 12 people to label him a terrorist, I labeled him a terrorist and that is all that matters.

At what point does a murderer become a terrorist? What is required?

Richard Jewell was definitely labeled a terrorist after the Centennial Olympic Park Bombing...except he didn't do it.

Ever stop to think about what might happen had the wrong person been nabbed? I realize that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is essentially positively the culprit, but suppose he weren't. What do you think he could possibly be coerced into admitting/confessing with a full room of the FBI's absolute top notch guys giving him a full-court press for two days straight?
