It's sad that some people won't listen to those whose views are different than their own. The councilman from Cincinnati opposing Anthony Munoz and Mtn. Ref should get together for dinner.

Also, the fact that it is Eastern Kentucky University and not Kentucky State University should be something that even mountainref would appreciate. I admit it is a great gig that EKU got her. A very high profile name. Cudos to EKU.

April 25, 201313 yr A guy I work with graduated from Berea College. He was saying the other day that Ricky Skaggs spoke at his graduation. I told him we didn't even have a special speaker at UK the year I graduated. So we were both fairly impressed that Eastern had landed a big name. The speaker at my graduation from Dayton was the SGA president. That was it. Terrible.

Mitch McConnell spoke at the Murray State graduation. Many decided that was the time to protest so they stood during his address to the audience with their back's turned. I would have been ticked had I been sitting behind them. In fairness to them a lot of the Professors that loathe anything Republican were up in arms over him coming to commencement with some "threatening" not to show. Oddly they have had no issue with the many speakers MSU has had more in line with their political beliefs. Of recent memory is RFK Jr., James Carville, etc.

She is the First Lady of the United States. Its the perfect time to spread your message. If you're a liberty minded group and you don't take advantage, you won't be too effective.
