Kevin is his older brother and he was a fine athlete at NCC as well. I believe he attends Louisville on an academic scholarship. All the Beuters are very smart kids.

I'm not the NCC expert but with Mike and Nick signing this year, Drew and Jake with offers already, is this the bet group of athletes to be in school at the same time?

 

Union is a great fit for Michael. As I've said many times, he'll surprise you with just how athletic he is and his jump shot is pure. Can't wait to see him play in a few years after he gets a little stronger. Congrats Mike!

Anytime you can get part of your education or the whole education played for that is a great deal for the student athlete and the parents.

 

I have watched Bueter thru his whole high school career and while Union is a nice place I thought he might have some opportunities at the D2 level. When you look at the success that Mikey Gabbard (Boone Co) and Kellen Smith (Scott HS) are having as PG's at the D2 level I thought Bueter might end up at that level.

 

Did he have any other offers or was Union just the best "fit"?

 

Have also heard that Nick Jackson from Scott might also end up at Union if he can take care of some "other business". That would be two very good gets for Union out of this area.
