Sorry, I'm far from playing games and I certainly didn't mean "to be sarcastic" - your original post reqested info on Brossart. I think I took your initial post/copied it and substituted the words Lee County for Brossart. I don't know how that was construed as being sarcastic, but it was certainly not intended as such.

I've actually been a pretty busy guy and haven't been following the BGP jargon as well as I probably should.

I appreciate the info on Lee that you provided and hope that you have found everything that you need on the Mustangs.

My talk about the move to the 10th must have been on a different topic or in answer to another question (such as our "domination" of the 10th Region "A" scene).

Who is the better post defender, Fetter or Rich?

 

Rich is the banger & about 6'5 or so.

Fetter is an athletic 6'2 & quicker so not in the post as much (or that i have seen?)

 

I did notice a couple big guys during warm-ups for Lee but they dont seem to play that much. They may be young guys??

Blowing Smoke??? I did find a roster and a few threads & "not bit at all" was not in it!!! 6'6, 6'5, 6'2, 5'10 & 5'11 are the starters & coming in with a 6'6!! pretty good size!! Not like U heights when they had victor & barnes but still FAR from SMALL!!

Never once seen a thread on here about Lee Co., yet almost every day I can read up on Brossart. By the way who the heck is Lee Co.? At least Brossart has made the All "A" State the past 4 years now.

I will admit that I without this website, I would have never heard of Lee Co. until I saw the matchup, but this is the exact thought that came to my mind when I saw that post.

I'd say Brossart well remembers Hazard.

Kind of off thread but interesting. I was doing deed work in Lee County Court House this a.m., and came across adeed where Bishop Frederick Brossart was involved in real estate transaction in early 1900's. Wonder if it was the same guy?

I agree with that, in the second game they didn't have to do much, Mains just took over.

I believe that the county seat of Lee County is Beattyville and that one of its most famous graduates is former UK basketball player, Larry Stamper. There are many fine people in Lee County. Nevertheless, Bishop Brossart will win tonight. I look for our Mustangs to do well in the Class A tournament. I would love to see us in the finals against our good neighbors, NCC.

I went the Highlands - Brossart game the other night, that was the first chance that I have had to see this group of Jrs from Brossart play together in along time. (Jim Ubel, Josh Kidney, Kyle Kramer, Nathan Mutsch(sp) and Troy Cooper)What a bunch of great kids. This group plus a few more (Alex Martin, Chad Steffen, Andrew Roller, and Jordan Franzen) played together starting in the 3rd grade. As 4th graders they finished 4th in the AAU State Championship. This quailified them for the National Tournament in Disney World, Florida. Not many grade school's teams have done what these boys have done. It's great to see how hard these kids have worked to become good basketball players. Great future ahead of these boy's. Go Stangs
