Louisville / Michigan Game Thread

Featured Replies

This game is over. Michigan gave Louisville it's best shot, and the Cards trial by just one at the half. All Cards 2nd half.

That's a good point. I expect quick whistles to start the second half, with Burke being the victim of a early third foul.

Of course you would.

And my point is Michigan did the same thing....Okay, so maybe it took an extra 30 seconds. The best player in the country played 4 minutes. His team is still winning.

It went on to become a 14-1 run which Michigan has not matched. But fair enough, Michigan had a good run too, so I'll back off the hyperbole. We'll see if the long time on the bench hurts more than it helps Burke.

Lville is a second half team. Michigan is not.

Did Bill Self tell you that?

Best player in the country only played 4 minutes and his team is still winning at the half. I think Michigan has to be feeling great right about now.

Looks like the best player on the team is Spike. Second best player on the team is riding the pine. :lol2:

Truth.

This is one of the best NC games I can remember! Hope it continues at this pace.

You traded for a Hancock jersey?

I bought that one on Saturday night.

Of course you would.

The call on Burke's second foul is why the college game needs to go to 6 fouls. A bad call or two can change the entire game when the best players have to sit 80% of a half.

Both teams better be smart starting the half, because they will try to get some type of control of the game.

His record would suggest he's on his way to being the equivalent.

Say what you want about Michigan coming back on Kansas. Louisville has proven on multiple occasions that they play much better in the 2nd half. Michigan up 1 at the half? I'll take Louisville all day on that one.

Spike would have barely seen time if Burke didn't get those two fouls. Double eged sword you're swing at me.

No way Michigan shoots like they did in the 1st half. Louisville will go on a big run at the start of the 2nd half, and Rockmom will start burning her couch.

My couch is safe tonight. :D. I am actually babysitting in Evansville while the Rockson and his wife are in Atlanta, somewhere in that sea of red at the Georgia Dome.

True but then again Michigan wouldnt have benefited from the "White Shadow" going off !!!
