Got to love day baseball. Kills time at work.

How sweet would it be if Meso had a banner day? And Homer threw a gem?

And the x-rays on Hanigian's hand were...................

Just kidding. :lol2::lol2::lol2::lol2:

It would be just as sweet as someone else having a banner day and the pitcher throwing a gem.

Marshall to the DL, Ondrusek up....Why was Marshall not DL'd in the first place again?

They thought he would improve and didn't but I agree he should have been DLed.

Did anyone ever hear an explanation for how the Reds were able to make two mound visits in the 6th inning without making a pitching change?

^Per Jamie Ramsey, the first time he went out was to tell the umps that the bullpen phone wasn't working, so it didn't count as a mound visit.

I think they got away with one there. I rewound it and there were 4 trips out of the dugout before the pitching change: 1. Price came out after the groundout that moved the first baserunner up to second. 2. Price came out of the dugout but didn't go all the way to the mound to tell the umpire who to warm up in the bullpen. 3. After Hanigan was hit by the foul ball. 4. Dusty came out and talked to Arroyo before the intentional walk. I guess that Price's first visit could have been to initially tell the umpire about the bullpen phone but I'm suprised they let him go to the mound to do that--he spent a lot of time talking to Arroyo instead of the umpire. Not that it had any outcome on the game I was just wondering what the official ruling on it was. Thanks for the info.

The Reds might be one of the worst teams in dealing with injuries. They live the short bench/ bullpen for some reason

I couldn't harass you if it was someone else.
