Roy can do that with the best of them.

It's also starting to kill Roy's recruiting.

Can the same thing not be said about WCS and Poythress this year? Went in to the season as firsrt round draft picks and now well, not in that realm.

WCS was projected lottery if not right on the cusp, and Alex was projected first round. Those two deciding to come back does not change the fact they were projected in the first round.

Well its a little bit different story coming out of high school as opposed to being evaluated after a year of college. You can always project guys out of high school, but until you see them against college level talent you can't really get as good of feel for them. That's the main reason so many NBA teams were getting burnt on guys out of high school, a lot of them just wasn't ready. I mean it happens all the time, guys like Lebryan Nash, Kenny Boynton, Josh Selby, Xavier Henry, etc. were top 5-10 guys coming out of high school. Once in college it was clear they weren't as ready for the next level as they looked in high school, and in Nash and Boynton's case they had to stay more than a few years in college. So IMO it is a little bit different when you compare guys to where they were at coming out of high school as opposed to coming off your first college year.

^ Wow your response makes a lot of sense. Not that I am surprised or anything!

Also WCS was no way shape or form considered a first round pick going into the season. He was considered a project big man that many thought would take a couple of seasons before he blossomed. After Cal hyped him all summer, and after he broke out this season he sprung into the conversation for being a 1st rounder. Coming out of high school though he was considered a project.

Phil Pressey is going pro.

WCS was not going into the season as a first round draft pick. Most saw him as a 3-4 year player. Now Alex, yes.

Michael Carter-Williams going pro.
