Boy has this thread ever gone off the deep end.

 

Whycan't we just talk about the game instead of having a big pity party or calling others names etc.?

 

It's clear there are people on here that don't like cooper fans and or CCH fans and have gone to stating lies thinking that will prove something. all it has done is make a joke out of a lot of people who like to point fingers and name call. I've seen several posts in here about cooper fans are highly sensitive yet it was a CCH fan on here saying he is quiting. I've seen many posts on here saying how Cooper fans always use excuses, yet I haven't seen one post in here from a Cooper fan using a single excuse about anything. All of that has led me to believe one thing, there are too many BGP posters on here some reason jealous of Cooper, have no idea why, but that is the only conclusion I can come to. Kind of silly if you ask me.

 

As far as TOG, I love ya man!!!! Love what you do for all the sports, love your passion for high school sports and we all know that when your reporting about a CCH game to take it with the knowledge that you are a huge CCH fan so some of it may be a bit biased but who cares? It's what we fans do. Can people for once stop finger pointing to fan bases and labeling them simply because you don't like the school. It's a kids games we are talking about. I tried several times to get this thread back on track and I will try one last time with this:

 

It was a great game by both teams, scoreless until the 6th inning, a true pitchers duel. H Dunn pitched awesome in only giving up 2 hits and Cooper prevailed 4-1 when it was all said and done.

 

Sat they meet again and the outcome could be different. HS Baseball is 95% pitching, so whoever has the better pitching Saturday will probably prevail period.

TOG is a Covington Catholic Alumni and probably their biggest fan. He is posting on an internet blogsite that allows people to share their opinions. He is not writing articles for the local newspaper. If you are tired of reading his posts then simply skip over them.

Wrong! As you stated, this is a blog. And as a member, I have every right to post my opinions. If people can't have a thick skin and don't like them, then don't respond;move on. I will continue to speak my mind and post my opinions within the BGP rules.

Are you also tired of all the other folks on here who do the same thing for their team in every sport??? Dang near every thread on here contains some variety of yea, we lost because of the refs, or umps... or, yea we lost, but Jimmy was hurt and did not play, or yea we lost but we had four guys on spring break....

 

Give me a break. DARN near everyone on here has an excuse when their team loses. Why do you feel the need to single out TOG for that. I can tell you why. It is because of your disdain for Cov Cath. Thats ok - lots of people hate Cov Cath, but fortunately Cov Cath does not need your love to be the school that it is.

 

You are getting tired of TOG, fine, but I bet there are plenty of guys getting tired of people like you taking over thread by poking at TOG instead of focusing on the game

I'm sorry I hurt your feelings by replying to TOG's post. GET OVER IT! I have nothing agains CCH as a school, I've even considered sending my boys there before because of the excellent academic program. It's just certain parents and fans that I can't stomach. Because I speak my mind about someone else's opinion of a game, it doesn't equal crying about anything. The only crying I see are the responses to my opinion. I am laughing my tail off reading and replying to you all. My opinion is mine! Sorry if you don't like it. Actually I'm not sorry because I really don't care if you do or don't. It's a blog for goodness sake. Get back to the game topic please!

Umm don't be sorry as you never hurt my feelings one bit. As far as the crying, it seems to me that you indeed were crying when you ripped TOG's posts. I simply asked the question - what about all the other posters on here who do the same dang thing? Of course you do not comment on them and I did not expect you too, and in fact knew you wouldn't.

 

I really don't give a hoot about your opinion and who you can and can not stomach. They are not my problems and I feel sorry for you, really I do to have to live with the opinions that you do. As Clyde pointed out, I was wrong about this being a blogsight, should have said message board. Thank you Clyde.

 

I challenge you to break my post down and tell which part was wrong about. I am totally fine with you posting any opinion you want. You said you were tired of reading TOG posts and I was trying to help you out with a little trick i have come up with while reading on BGP. When I come to a post by a member that I consider a clown, I simply don't read their posts. That way I don't get upset and spout off and make myself look like a clown. It is my opinion that you should try this tactic.

TOG......Fantastic post and recap on the parents site. Probably the best I've ever seen.

Actually oldtime, you being the one who wasn't talking about the game and instead continues to take this thread into a romper room state makes me feel sorry for you.

 

Seriously, if you really want to talk about the CCH parent site then go there and enjoy. No need to make childish posts like a 3 year old.
