March 25, 201313 yr Leake as a 5th starter is fine. Basically you are looking for 10 wins out of a 5 and he can do that. The way I look at a rotation is this: #1 20 wins #2 17-19 wins #3 14- 16 wins #4 12-13 wins #5 10 wins That is 65-75 wins our of your starters. Bullpen picks up 20-25 wins and you are a playoff team.

This close to the season spring training becomes meaningless to players an they lose focus. I'm sure he will pick it back up going into the season along with the rest of the players
