That would be awesome ...but I have a hard time seeing it for the obvious reasons.

Booher would be crazy to leave Holmes for Beechwood. Talent is going to be phenomenal the next 3 years.

Booher is not on the hot seat.

That is just someone throwing names out there. Nothing more than that.

Nope...someone currently on the hot seat that applied for another nky job.

My guess is this is Rick Shumate.

My guess as well.

Before we move completely on from Coach Miller and who the next coach might be, it is truly sad that it worked out this way. Coach Miller is a Beechwood alumnus and it would have been a fun story for a Beechwood guy to lead the program and have success. As I said earlier, I am sure this was an extra difficult move for the Beechwood administration with the alumnus factor and so many people in the community being supporters and friends. Hopefully Coach Miller finds a new position and enjoys much success in the future.

Agreed. BW is a really tough job for anyone.

Joe Fredricks, not just throwing names out there!

Joe Fredricks, not just throwing names out there!

Joe Fredrick to Beechwood makes zero sense. I am not saying it would or would not happen, just that it would be an epic failure if it happens...

Perfect job for Blevins or Bowman to get their feet wet.

Or graveyard for coaches.

It wasn't a graveyard for Shumate. I know, I know .... Beechwood was in NKAC DIII, but ... Shumate won a lot of games and got a job at a big school in Indiana.

If someone came to Beechwood and won half their games while being in NKAC DII, I think Beechwood fans would be fine with that and a coach would have a good story to tell if he wanted to move on.

The biggest key in this for Beechwood ... get a coach who is also a teacher. That will help a lot all the way around, for the program, the players, the coach and for potential longevity for the next coach.
